  R-Axis IV++
Rigaku R-Axis IV++ is an image plate (IP) detector manufactured by Rigaku of Japan. It is one of the most successful area-detectors that is widely used around the world for collecting protein x-ray diffraction data. Despite the fact that the IP technology is more than a decade old, R-Axis IIc continues serve as a reliable and an useful area-detector for home laboratories.

Some other features of the R-Axis IIc are given below:

  • Two 30 x 30 cm2 IPs
  • Two byte data read-out
  • Five orders of magnitude linear response
  • Higher signal/noise ratio compared to film
